Farhadi blockbuster named best at Iran awards

The Hafez Awards has named Asghar Farhadi’s blockbuster ‘The Salesman’ as best film.

The Oscar-winning drama was introduced as the best film at Iran’s first and only private awards in the film industry and TV productions.

The film tells the story of a young couple named Emad (Shahab Hosseini) and Rana (Taraneh Alidoosti) who move into a new flat in the center of Tehran. But an incident linked to the previous tenant dramatically changes their life.
